An anomaly of colour in a vast series of bleached salt pans, Jack's Camp sits under an island of palms southeast of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by oceans of Kalahari Desert sand. A salty clay crust for most of the year seasonally the pans fill with water, grasses and life - a refuge for birds and animals in this very arid part of the world.
